FAQs
Can I get waxed if I am on my cycle?
Absolutely!
We ask that you use a fresh tampon or menstrual cup while receiving any Bikini/Brazilian wax services. We always have tampons on hand if needed.
You may notice more sensitivity while waxing during your cycle.If you prefer not waxing on your cycle, we recommend booking right after!
This is totally normal & common for waxing clients. We will never make you feel ashamed or uncomfortable for waxing while on your time of the month.
What if I am taking medications or using topicals on my skin?
Taking antibiotics or topical acne medications such as (but not limited to) Retinols, Epiduo, Differin, Alpha hydroxy acids etc. can cause skin sensitivity and skin to lift when waxed.
We suggest that you stop using your topicals 3-5 days prior to coming in for a wax in order to prevent skin lifting.
*You must be off of Accutane for 6 months before waxing.
How often should I get waxed?
Everyone’s bodies & their hair growth cycles are different and individual to them. I will recommend when to book at your visit.
Facial waxing & underarm areas can be a schedule of every 2-4 weeks. These hairs typically tend to grow fastest on the body.
Bikini/Brazilian area can be a schedule of between 3-6 weeks depending upon how fast your hair grows & your comfort.
All other body areas are typically a maintenance schedule of 4-6 weeks post wax.
